Year of Mercy

What is the Year of Mercy?

Pope Francis declared Dec. 8, 2015-Nov. 20, 2016 an Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. Catholics are called to direct our attention and actions on mercy “so that we may become a more effective sign of the Father’s action in our lives … a time when the witness of believers might grow stronger and more effective.” (source: United States Conference of Catholic Bishops)
